original 2% discount real estate broker (FOXTON'S) most likely is going out of Business
THEY ARE LAYING OFF 90% OF THEIR STAFF and oh my they have 4,400 listings in New Jersey

As of today they are going to Bankruptcy Court to keep control of these listings. How fair is that? They stormed into our State in 1999 and did as they pleased opened a company in West Long Branch but you could not go to the office it was all internet. They had inside Sales Consultants and Outside Sales Consultants. They were Real Estate Agents that at one time worked side by side with all of us.
Now they will have to do the same as the rest of us and negotiate a real commission the houses are staying on the market an average of 6 months even with the proper price, maybe longer if the price is unrealistic. At one point FOXTON'S (I can say it now it's out all over the news) if they decided they needed our help they put it on the MLS to the other Companies they would keep 2% and give the buyers' agent 1%. They were fair right!................................they came into business in a sellers' market you didn't even have to advertise the house it was gone, word of mouth..............they are going out in a buyers' market now we know the bubble burst. Lets' take a good look at the listing prices of some of the houses and maybe we can get it together and sell some houses.
All I have to say is..........................................Bye now FOXTON'S, I knew we would be seeing your agents coming back and learning how to live in our world with professionalism.
Ok so much for that, now I know you (buyers') were told not to buy until next year, however our market has pretty much bottomed out and we will come back with vengeance next year. These Wall Street Brokers' are scaring the buyers'. Get yourself an experienced Realtor wherever you want to buy, check them out. We are up for your scrutiny, years, experience ask for a resume what this Realtor has done, full time. Most of us pay for all our own advertising and know how to get you out there!! Make you the most important listing we have ever had. Just because you live in an area does not make you an expert. I have been looking on my MLS, all different counties and I see many agents still out there that I started with so you have many professionals to deal with,, do so.
Interview your Agent or Broker we try harder and personally I am not giving up until all your homes are sold. Let's do this together. I am not an office that you cannot come to, I will come to you or you can come to my office anytime you want. Sit on the bench in front and watch the girls or boys go by. You never know who may go by. This is Freehold Boro!
