Well as you all know we got a taste of what Florida and many many States endure these costly, killers Hurricanes.

We have had snow storms that crippled us all winter and a few rain storms, but this omg what a blast, I went to go to the store with everyone in New Jersey on Friday no water no bread no essentials, no batteries (needed) flashlights etc.

We all have these things but wanted more however the difference in the attitude of our neighbors was wonderful we talked while waiting online an made plans. If you have to be evacuated where will you go??? Well we continued on to the Wine an goodie store, we were told not to leave the house unless they called us out.

This would have been a big end of season party at the shore but the shore was being evacuated from Cape May to South Amboy the whole State. So what to do, they had set up centers. We stayed put, the visitors had to go they were out of here Friday. Our Governor handled all and actually closed the Garden State Parkway coming south so everyone got out very orderly.

Please do not think of "Jersey Shore" tv when you think of the people here. We are tuff have been through much and are suffering along with the rest of the housing industry watching our beautiful homes short sale. We are still standing a little flooded a little less power but we are back....................hanging tuff and getting ready to honor our heros on 911 with our brothers and sisters in New York, let it be said most of that said we are the surburan extension of New York. We are native New Yorkers.

Congradulations Jersey Shore and all of New Jersey one day without power and WE ARE BACK!!!!
